The Mestre GG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Baturhan Oytun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mestre GG's Boguslaw Makarewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 minutes Mestre GG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demis Katsarolidis who took care of the corner kick. The wind increased when Boguslaw Makarewicz made the kick off in the second half. When Benson Beverley came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Mestre GG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benson Beverley couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Benson Beverley hit a great ball. Remigiusz Paciuszko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baturhan Oytun in the 57th minute of play. Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Trancoso in the 59th minute of play. Remigiusz Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturhan Oytun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 69 in the game by Benson Beverley from a close distance when the talented Iurie Chiriacescu managed to make a qualified save. PIAUÍ FC's players were relieved. After 70 played minutes Mestre GG got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Paraíba. Álvaro Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, PIAUÍ FC's Vladimir de Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigiusz Paciuszko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mestre GG's Jorginho Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, PIAUÍ FC's Fernandinho Mesquita got a free kick in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Guga Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigiusz Paciuszko. Mestre GG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guga Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Remigiusz Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Víktor Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigiusz Paciuszko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Víktor Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. PIAUÍ FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
