Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Neto in the 4th minute of play. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Borges in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Robert Lozovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Limoeiro-PE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naldo Valladares took the corner. Henrique Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniël De Goeij having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 15th minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Robert Lozovan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl. Hansjörg Wastl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hansjörg Wastl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fabiano Fontes in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Henrique Borges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniël De Goeij was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36th play minutes Richard Neto shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Hansjörg Wastl and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniël De Goeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Henrique Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Doni Barbosa got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Robert Lozovan. In the 45th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 庄翀竞 to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Neto. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute Edu Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Lozovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hansjörg Wastl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Jorginho de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Naldo Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniël De Goeij breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniël De Goeij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Carvalho in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniël De Goeij narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ian Melo fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limoeiro-PE FC's protests and gave Ian Melo a yellow card for diving instead. Ian Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Valdemar Tepedino was substituted for Felippe Pitta. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emiel Desmet was substituted for Naldo Valladares. After 84 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Melo. Jorginho de Queiroz's late challenge caught a Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. Jorginho de Queiroz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Ionuț Hârlău struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Daniël De Goeij didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. 87 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Neto came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniël De Goeij made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. 95 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Carvalho. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionuț Hârlău in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Limoeiro-PE FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
