An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Trancoso in the 88th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Juninho Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PIAUÍ FC's Guga Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
