In the 2nd minute, Edvaldo de Toledo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigo Vidal. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Vladimir Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pura Arte F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bin Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal got control of the ball when Bin Shevchenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pura Arte F.C's zone, Bin Shevchenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Vidal came out of the goal and Bin Shevchenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrico Orsi came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Vidal could save by the left post. Rodrigo Vidal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Enrico Orsi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvaldo de Toledo got free with Rodrigo Vidal in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blumenau Esporte Clube's attentive Lucas-Ignacio Lugano managed to snatch the ball when Frederico Fontes made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. After 43 minutes, Frederico Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pura Arte F.C and the Blumenau Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Bin Shevchenko made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Bin Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Vidal. Pura Arte F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bin Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pura Arte F.C booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Rodrigo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bin Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lucas-Ignacio Lugano fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blumenau Esporte Clube's protests and gave Lucas-Ignacio Lugano a yellow card for diving instead. If Enrico Orsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Edvaldo de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vladimir Fonseca's late challenge caught a Blumenau Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pura Arte F.C getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Vladimir Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Bin Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bin Shevchenko in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blumenau Esporte Clube's attentive Lucas-Ignacio Lugano managed to snatch the ball when Frederico Fontes made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. Bin Shevchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Vidal having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Blumenau Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
