The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Correia got free with Rodrigo Vidal in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedé Correia in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Vidal saved Pura Arte F.C from getting behind. Garopaba F.C's Orlando da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Mendonça in the 9th minute of play. Dedé Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Orlando da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Garopaba F.C's Yanne Van Meerbeeck pulled a muscle in his leg after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Garopaba F.C's Rogelio Urtungo was substituted for Yanne Van Meerbeeck. Falcão Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Garopaba F.C's Dedé Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenneth Mager struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Orlando da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pura Arte F.C. The crowd rose to their feet as Dedé Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodrigo Vidal. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Dedé Correia put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Vidal. With a little luck, Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal got control of the ball when Dedé Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Pura Arte F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kaká Botelho hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Vladimir Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Garopaba F.C's Orlando da Cunha got control of the ball when Vladimir Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Dedé Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Mendonça hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wambasther Özil in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pura Arte F.C's Luís Paulo Fonseca got a free kick in the 95th minute. Garopaba F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
