In the 13th minute, Fred Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Şensoy Peyam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Gernando Azevedo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silas Carneiro, passed just outside the right post. If Gernando Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silas Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Şensoy Peyam hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Gernando Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dênis Loureiro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Leonidas in the 32nd minute of the match. Silas Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 33rd minute of play. Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andolín Dijk hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Best Gol made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Los Andes FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Amadeu do Nascimento hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Andolín Dijk got a free kick in the 66th minute. Silas Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Nascimento in the 71st minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Azevedo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silas Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Gernando Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Carneiro having to interfere. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ made a substitution. Hayrullah Özgun replaced Fred Monteiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 80th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silas Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flamengo FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arjen Robben was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Gernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silas Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 89th minute of the match. Gernando Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Silas Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ had played much better football throughout.
