In the 6th minute József Pataky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SÉ SE's József Pataky got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Ströms Diamonds got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Zander. Aaron Zander hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Arne Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Rózsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Aaron Zander made a precise shot to the right of Krisztián Bodonyi. SÉ SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Ströms Diamonds getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Olle Haegg hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ströms Diamonds's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Szél came free, but Arne Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olle Haegg fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ströms Diamonds's protests and gave Olle Haegg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ströms Diamonds getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Olle Haegg hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Albert Szél shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Magnusson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when József Pataky sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, SÉ SE's Albert Szél dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Kurt Ahlquist hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Károly Takács, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 44 minutes into the match, József Pataky notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ströms Diamonds's Arne Magnusson. Arne Magnusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Igelström was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, SÉ SE's Albert Szél nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Magnusson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Olle Haegg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. The supporters of SÉ SE booed when Ströms Diamonds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Haegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Pataky in the 58th minute of play. When SÉ SE's Albert Szél in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ströms Diamonds's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute, Gyula Gál hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Ströms Diamonds's Kenny Lagerberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krisztián Bodonyi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. József Pataky scored 4-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Magnusson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arne Magnusson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Szél went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Ströms Diamonds's Arne Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Pataky in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Albert Szél managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SÉ SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Szél was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Rózsa in the 80th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Ströms Diamonds got a freekick which was hit by Johan Eklund. In the 83rd minute of the match Károly Takács shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Magnusson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Károly Takács was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. Károly Takács hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Krisztián Bodonyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Igelström in the 88th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, SÉ SE's Albert Szél made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Magnusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albert Szél received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Arne Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SÉ SE's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
