Karl-Oskar Odén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adalberto Marquez went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Karl-Oskar Odén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bawang Merah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Navarro made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Bawang Merah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Karl-Oskar Odén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bawang Merah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Odén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. If Bawang Merah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bawang Merah might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Oskar Odén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. SAPI FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
