A wasted opportunity for Elizabeth Three Lions FC. 14 minutes into the match, PaxTeam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Ings came free, but Teófilo lacerda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Bruce Sheldon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teófilo lacerda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the PaxTeam FC defense, Galin Nikov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teófilo lacerda. The PaxTeam FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teófilo lacerda should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Galin Nikov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teófilo lacerda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Baltasar Etxatxu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Max Washington was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Etxatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Washington was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Baltasar Etxatxu took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Washington. Max Washington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The PaxTeam FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elizabeth Three Lions FC were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Baltasar Etxatxu made the kick off in the second half. PaxTeam FC's Nicolau Zarco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sam Gulliver in the 55 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Elizabeth Three Lions FC's zone, Nicolau Zarco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Washington came out of the goal and Nicolau Zarco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Sheldon in the 62nd minute of play forced PaxTeam FC's goalkeeper Teófilo lacerda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Domingues's late challenge caught a Elizabeth Three Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. Anselmo Domingues hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Etxatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Washington was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. A collision led to PaxTeam FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jacob Rios hit a great ball. Elizabeth Three Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after PaxTeam FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alonso Quesada took the corner. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Alonso Quesada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teófilo lacerda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. PaxTeam FC's Teófilo lacerda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save PaxTeam FC from getting a goal against them. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
