The AFC Koolkerke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Steven should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Nicolas Specht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Koolkerke the free kick. After a rather tough play, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Nicolas Specht got a free kick in the 11th minute. Robertinho Carabajal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Dani Vassaras made a huge save. In the 18th minute William Andries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Andries in the 21st minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, William Andries had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Steven. AFC Koolkerke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Andries was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Joseph Smits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dani Vassaras made a huge save. William Andries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dani Vassaras. That made the score 1-2 after 37 minutes of play. In the 42nd minute William Andries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's William Andries nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Andries stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If William Andries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 53 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Andries. After 57 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by Alex Koit. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Andries got free with Ulises Steven in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. William Andries could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ulises Steven made a huge save. Armando Felipillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner was taken by Nicolas Specht in the 72nd minute. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Koolkerke from getting a goal against them. Dani Vassaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Smits in the 80th minute of play. Ulises Steven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Andries's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Smits in the 84th minute of play forced ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's goalkeeper Dani Vassaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, AFC Koolkerke's Joseph Smits made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dani Vassaras was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Andries. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Andries in the 96th minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
