The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 7th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Harvey Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Bal op het Dak defense, Jedrzej Kiszkiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harvey Davies. The FC Bal op het Dak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harvey Davies should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Dan Kjellman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rene Vereijt, passed just outside the right post. Baba R. Hansen made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Bal op het Dak's Cobus Harding. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 21st minute of play. If William Westelinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Yavaş came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Westelinx in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Harvey Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergen Şahbender shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Kjellman to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Bal op het Dak's Artur Mendes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paolo Evis in the 53 minute of the game. Jedrzej Kiszkiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Harvey Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Westelinx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Harvey Davies made a huge save. William Westelinx might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harvey Davies. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Westelinx ran back to his position shaking his head. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Westelinx in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harvey Davies, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Jedrzej Kiszkiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harvey Davies made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Juan Santi sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Joop Bakker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bal op het Dak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Santi got free with Harvey Davies in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Ouagadougou National's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sergen Şahbender in the 80th minute. FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Rojas in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Harvey Davies, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match Marick Brunt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Vereijt skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute Dani Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marick Brunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Vereijt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martijn August went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Ouagadougou National players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bal op het Dak.
