Thanks to some nice moves Hamza Yavaş could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Radamel Hendrickx however easily saved by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dani Rojas. If Yuri Portugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamza Yavaş kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radamel Hendrickx. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Fauna Utd's Lorenzo Garaona was substituted for Karel Cromefeldt. The wind increased when Yuri Portugal made the kick off in the second half. Yuri Portugal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Vereijt having to interfere. In the 58th minute Dani Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radamel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt got control of the ball when Yuri Portugal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FC Ouagadougou National fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fauna Utd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
