Pierre-Paul Van Dijck made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Bal op het Dak's Artur Mendes. In the 9th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamiel Ingelborgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jordi Paschiers however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordi Paschiers in the 16th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Harvey Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Kjellman in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamiel Ingelborgh saved Ad Fundum from getting behind. Dan Kjellman might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kamiel Ingelborgh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Kjellman ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Kjellman came free, but Kamiel Ingelborgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes FC Bal op het Dak got a freekick which was hit by John-Paul Locatelli. The audience was convinced that Dan Kjellman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamiel Ingelborgh was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 34th minute of play. Kamiel Ingelborgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Mendes in the 39th minute of play. When Marick Brunt came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Bal op het Dak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marick Brunt couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddy Neijsen lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Eddy Neijsen hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tran Vrolijcx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kamiel Ingelborgh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Kjellman's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Dan Kjellman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Baldaia in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Ad Fundum's Tran Vrolijcx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harvey Davies made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Harvey Davies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Vrolijcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Baldaia in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harvey Davies saved FC Bal op het Dak from getting behind. In the 80thth minute of the game Tomás Baldaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Paul Van Dijck. Kamiel Ingelborgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harvey Davies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Vrolijcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Martijn August tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kamiel Ingelborgh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aurel Cornea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harvey Davies read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Baldaia in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Aurel Cornea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ad Fundum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurel Cornea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Tomás Baldaia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harvey Davies was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
