With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Tan in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludo Vanden Bossche saved The Everett Hawks from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Alexander Tan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludo Vanden Bossche was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Tan in the 25th minute of the match. North Hill United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans scored to the left of an out of position Joos Teurfs, making the score, 1-1. Joos Teurfs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Shantala during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Tan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ludo Vanden Bossche was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Alexander Tan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexander Tan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. North Hill United's Dre Toeback suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willem-Jan Grootjans during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. North Hill United's Steff Berckmans was substituted for Dre Toeback. Alexander Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ludo Vanden Bossche made a huge save. The throw-in from Imral Kurniawan in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by North Hill United's Yao Zhou Jian. Joos Teurfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Goorts in the 71st minute of the match. Joos Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Pirlo in the 79th minute of play. After 80 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Yao Zhou Jian. The Everett Hawks's Luke Van Bostraeten was substituted for Philip Goorts. The Everett Hawks's Jorg Van Halssbeeck was substituted for Willem-Jan Grootjans. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Yao Zhou Jian got a free kick in the 81st minute. Alexander Tan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludo Vanden Bossche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Alexander Tan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the North Hill United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Tan couldn't finish the play. The Everett Hawks made a substitution. Abdi Mehmet Rakim replaced Philippe-Arnaud Heremans. Abdi Mehmet Rakim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched North Hill United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
