Proch Pionki's Herbert Ruszczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Proch Pionki! The goalkeeper, Sylwester Gozdowski, was totally fooled by Juve Górnik Knurów's Wojciech Bartochowski, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Proch Pionki's Sylwester Gozdowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Proch Pionki from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafal Mochowak during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafal Mochowak in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radowit Konopka saved Juve Górnik Knurów from getting behind. Herbert Ruszczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Konopka having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radowit Konopka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 minutes, Wojciech Bartochowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juve Górnik Knurów and the Proch Pionki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Juve Górnik Knurów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wojciech Bartochowski to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafal Mochowak made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Zachary Juchno made a precise shot to the right of Sylwester Gozdowski. Proch Pionki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Herbert Ruszczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Konopka having to interfere. Juve Górnik Knurów's Radowit Konopka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Mochowak in the 58th minute of play. Radowit Konopka was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Herbert Ruszczyk. Herbert Ruszczyk struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Radowit Konopka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Proch Pionki. Sylwester Gozdowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Proch Pionki's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Kloczko came free, but Sylwester Gozdowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Proch Pionki getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Herbert Ruszczyk hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Mieszko Rostow made a precise shot to the right of Sylwester Gozdowski. Proch Pionki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Radowit Konopka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Mochowak, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Mieszko Rostow might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sylwester Gozdowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mieszko Rostow ran back to his position shaking his head. Proch Pionki's Sylwester Gozdowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Bialakowski in the 93rd minute of play. Sylwester Gozdowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wojciech Kloczko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Proch Pionki players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juve Górnik Knurów.
