The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ströms Diamonds getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Karl-Åke Hellström hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wictor Kielstedt in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Maxin saved Matará FC【LBF】 from getting behind. If Bo Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Johnsson in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Rikard Kvalfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ströms Diamonds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matará FC【LBF】 the free kick. Rikard Kvalfält hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Haroldo Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Kielstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Haroldo Maxin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wictor Kielstedt went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jörgen Johnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörgen Johnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Haroldo Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Kielstedt in the 30th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Esteve Esdras took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gunnar Engström to make any attempt to save it. If Wictor Kielstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Matará FC【LBF】's zone, Bo Byström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Maxin came out of the goal and Bo Byström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Kielstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Matará FC【LBF】's zone, Bo Byström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Maxin came out of the goal and Bo Byström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romulo Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wictor Kielstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Matará FC【LBF】's Esteve Esdras got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haroldo Maxin made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wictor Kielstedt sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wictor Kielstedt got free with Haroldo Maxin in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Maxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wictor Kielstedt in the 74th minute. Ströms Diamonds's Yngve Lundqvist shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Haroldo Maxin but with some difficulty. 78 minutes into the match, Matará FC【LBF】's goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Kielstedt came free, but Haroldo Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wictor Kielstedt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Haroldo Maxin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 83 minutes into the match, Matará FC【LBF】's goalkeeper Haroldo Maxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wictor Kielstedt. Haroldo Maxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wictor Kielstedt in the 84th minute. Matará FC【LBF】's Haroldo Maxin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Matará FC【LBF】 from getting a goal against them. Haroldo Maxin made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Wictor Kielstedt sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ströms Diamonds walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
