After a defensive mix-up in Ströms Diamonds's zone, Jimeno Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Engström came out of the goal and Jimeno Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Rosalio took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gunnar Engström. Gunnar Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Teodosio Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Engström having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Jimmy Lindström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ströms Diamonds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cura del Futbol the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ströms Diamonds's Jimmy Lindström got a free kick in the 24th minute. Cura del Futbol's Braulio Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Kielstedt in the 27th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cura del Futbol's Gunnar Engström threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Constantino Peter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gunnar Engström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Oriche in the 38th minute. Jimeno Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wictor Kielstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Onbera having to interfere.

In the 55th match minute, Ströms Diamonds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Constantino Peter might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Engström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Peter ran back to his position shaking his head. Gunnar Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 64 played minutes Ströms Diamonds got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Kielstedt. 66 minutes into the game, Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunnar Engström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 72nd minute Teodosio Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Ströms Diamonds's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Rosalio came free, but Gunnar Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Rosalio scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Engström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Oriche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Engström was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the game, Constantino Peter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Gunnar Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jörgen Johnsson was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. After 85 played minutes, Cura del Futbol's Eulalio Blanco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gunnar Engström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cura del Futbol reached it. In the 87th minute, Jimmy Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cura del Futbol fully deserved thier win.
