With a little luck, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec got control of the ball when Uno Lundkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nelson Cloarec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Örtendal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Czeslaw Czajkowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nelson Cloarec. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Åstäppa FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Davy Giacomoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davy Giacomoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nelson Cloarec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Åstäppa FK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Oliver Apelqvist hit a great ball. Åstäppa FK's Peter Örtendal got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uno Lundkvist hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Peter Örtendal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Nelson Cloarec made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Peter Örtendal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nelson Cloarec, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Czeslaw Czajkowski got free with Nelson Cloarec in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Formation Pure Lyonnaise defense, Peter Örtendal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson Cloarec. The Formation Pure Lyonnaise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson Cloarec should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davy Giacomoni to strike the kick off in the second half. If Peter Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Czeslaw Czajkowski sped through Formation Pure Lyonnaise's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelson Cloarec. After some careless play in the Formation Pure Lyonnaise defense, Czeslaw Czajkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson Cloarec. The Formation Pure Lyonnaise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson Cloarec should have stopped the shot. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Olofsson in the 70th minute of play. The Åstäppa FK fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Åstäppa FK's Czeslaw Czajkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th minute, Peter Örtendal made a precise shot to the right of Nelson Cloarec. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Åstäppa FK's Håkan Axelsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Falaise, made in the 87th minute of the game. Martin Falaise made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Åstäppa FK's Håkan Axelsson. Nelson Cloarec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Örtendal went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Åstäppa FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
