John Bratt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Gil Garcia made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Kilstedt in the 13th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Alvar Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürgen Trittin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes, Kattvik kings's Şenel Zeval shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Garcia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kattvik kings reached it. Gil Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Bratt in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Kattvik kings's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Kilstedt came free, but Alvar Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Nilsson's late challenge caught a Kattvik kings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Nilsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jonsereds IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ronny Nilsson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jürgen Trittin in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Garcia saved Jonsereds IF from getting behind. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jürgen Trittin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixten Sjö to make the kick off. Gil Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenel Zeval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jürgen Trittin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 minutes, Şenel Zeval made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Kurt Lövgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Kattvik kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Lövgren to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixten Sjö in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jonsereds IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Şenel Zeval was slow to take the kick. During this time Kattvik kings's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Şenel Zeval got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gil Garcia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kattvik kings had played much better football throughout.
