The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when JKs Talanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Davids didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Möllgren in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Wallander saved JKs Talanger from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, JKs Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Davids to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 19th minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell Åkesson. Kjell Åkesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a rather tough play, SSC Ambrosini's Björn Hage got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lacy Ericsson in the 42nd minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell Åkesson made a kick off. The SSC Ambrosini players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
