Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Muli in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthon Nordin in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rıza Vuralhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rıza Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Ove Britz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charlie Beck's late challenge caught a Flodde CFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Beck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Flodde CFC booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Beck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Britz came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Beck in the 21st minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Henry Ekman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Flodde CFC's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Beck came free, but Henry Ekman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flodde CFC's Henry Ekman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Flodde CFC from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Flodde CFC's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Beck came free, but Henry Ekman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Bambas might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Ekman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Bambas ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Henry Ekman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Bambas. Rıza Vuralhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Víktor Muli's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Flodde CFC's zone, Igor Bambas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Ekman came out of the goal and Igor Bambas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Igor Bambas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Bambas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antti Ani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Henry Ekman made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Antti Ani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Beck was the one to do the kick off. Strömsbro IF's Igor Bambas got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Charlie Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Ekman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Ekman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Bambas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Igor Bambas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flodde CFC's Henry Ekman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Beck in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Bambas in the 63rd minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Henry Ekman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Charlie Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Ekman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Stefan Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Bambas scored 1-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Ekman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Strömsbro IF's Igor Bambas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Strömsbro IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
