An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Hård in the 3rd minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Kaj Hård ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th minute Sixten Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Atakan Pepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute of the match, Niklas Söderberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gil Garcia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. spikarna's Atakan Pepe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gil Garcia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Gil Garcia managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when spikarna's Kaj Hård fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute of the match spikarna got a corner. Jonsereds IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Atakan Pepe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to spikarna's Niklas Söderberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Niklas Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gil Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. spikarna's Kaj Hård got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes, Shen Xun Chen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jonsereds IF and the spikarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Shen Xun Chen got a free kick in the 36th minute. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Kilstedt in the 40th minute of play. Jonsereds IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronny Nilsson in the 42nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Hans Kilstedt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Atakan Pepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gil Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Jonsereds IF's Arvid Qvarnström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rickard Alefors in the 54 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Hård in the 59th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Jonsereds IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Qvarnström to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, spikarna's Sven Nordkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Rickard Alefors got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gil Garcia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Arvid Qvarnström got a free kick in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Niklas Söderberg notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia. Gil Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Kilstedt in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sixten Sjö kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lars Norberg. That made the score 3-1 in the 94 minute of play. spikarna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
