The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Henrik Möllgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th match minute, SSC Ambrosini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Möllgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Igor Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Möllgren in the 15th minute of play. Henrik Möllgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 18th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrik Möllgren in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rıza Vuralhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lacy Ericsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Skarkman got free with Aaron Glanselius in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrik Möllgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Glanselius made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tony Skarkman sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Glanselius was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Antti Ani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antti Ani really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Aaron Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Bambas in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Igor Bambas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Glanselius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Henrik Möllgren came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SSC Ambrosini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Möllgren couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Skarkman in the 45th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lacy Ericsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Möllgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The Strömsbro IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while SSC Ambrosini had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
