The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th play minute Jörgen Vennerdal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Walter Bergström. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Kattvik kings's Jörgen Vennerdal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walter Bergström. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. Walter Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Hult, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jörgen Vennerdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Bergström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörgen Vennerdal ran back to his position shaking his head. Glemmingebro IF's Walter Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Glemmingebro IF from getting a goal against them. Andreas Hult fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Bergström having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Joakim Dahlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kent Qvalfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Kattvik kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Qvalfeldt couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Åke Arenius hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Glemmingebro IF's Walter Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Glemmingebro IF from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Glemmingebro IF booed when Kattvik kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristoffer Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Lind in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Jörgen Vennerdal took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Walter Bergström to make any attempt to save it. Tommy Lind struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Kristoffer Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glemmingebro IF. In the 38th minute, Max Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Vennerdal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Walter Bergström firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Jörgen Vennerdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jörgen Vennerdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Walter Bergström made a huge save. Walter Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörgen Vennerdal in the 45th minute. Jörgen Vennerdal struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Walter Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kattvik kings. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Hult made a kick off. Glemmingebro IF's Walter Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Hult in the 52nd minute of play. Walter Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Vennerdal in the 55th minute of play. If Jörgen Vennerdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jörgen Vennerdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Bergström having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Vennerdal in the 64th minute of play forced Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Walter Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glemmingebro IF's Tommy Lind was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kristoffer Nordin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jörgen Vennerdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Osvald Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kattvik kings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvald Håkansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Linus Stenström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Walter Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Håkansson in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Kattvik kings booed when Glemmingebro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Arenius didn't get a good kick on the ball.
