In the 2nd minute, Bedih Rafet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robert Falck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis-Miguel Camara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Ursu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Strömsbro IF's Luis-Miguel Camara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Engström in the 10th minute of play. Jens-Ove Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Falck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Tan came free, but Luis-Miguel Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Skarkman got free with Jens-Ove Åkesson in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Örjan Frisk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ove Åkesson was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Robert Falck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Åkesson having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Tony Skarkman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson. Jens-Ove Åkesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the game, Malte Hedström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Di Röe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strömsbro IF the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Strömsbro IF's Robert Falck tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lucas Eliasson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, Strömsbro IF's Tony Skarkman made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ove Åkesson was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Örjan Frisk was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Tony Skarkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jens-Ove Åkesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jens-Ove Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Skarkman in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Di Röe defense, Tony Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Ove Åkesson. The Di Röe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ove Åkesson should have stopped the shot. Kent Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tony Skarkman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Ove Åkesson having to make a save. Simon Kihlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Thomas Sjöström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Di Röe's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Sjöström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis-Miguel Camara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Frisk in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Strömsbro IF had won after a very even match.
