The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Attila Kádár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attila Kádár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Stardust Unicorns XI's Bengt-Rune Nord got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ulf Skoog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute BK Tåfjutt were awarded a corner. Mattias Petersson went to the cornerflag to take it. BK Tåfjutt's Mattias Petersson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ulf Skoog in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 17 minutes of play, Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Villiam Trillkott was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute of the match, Olof Soned got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ulf Skoog was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ulf Skoog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When BK Tåfjutt's Olof Soned in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stardust Unicorns XI's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Stardust Unicorns XI getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Attila Kádár hit a great ball. Ulf Skoog was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olof Soned showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. Villiam Trillkott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Kádár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stardust Unicorns XI's goalkeeper Ulf Skoog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Stardust Unicorns XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frits Andriessen to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olof Soned stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rocky Thunderbolt charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rocky Thunderbolt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rocky Thunderbolt hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, John Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frits Andriessen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Villiam Trillkott came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár. But to his dismay, Attila Kádár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, BK Tåfjutt's Hans Blom got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Kjell Kruuse threw the ball into play from the sideline. Stardust Unicorns XI's Frits Andriessen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Attila Kádár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulf Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Blom in the 76th minute of play. Attila Kádár blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villiam Trillkott having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Benny Bennis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attila Kádár struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Villiam Trillkott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stardust Unicorns XI. Ulf Skoog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Villiam Trillkott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Kádár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Stardust Unicorns XI had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
