Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Strömsbro IF's Michael Bredberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Bengt-Rune Strömbom got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Isak Wenerdahl hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Albohm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulf Öfverman in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Albohm saved Strömsbro IF from getting behind. Alexandre Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Bredberg in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ulf Öfverman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brothers of Mercy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Öfverman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Albohm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Giga Mønster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Bredberg took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Pires. Alexandre Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Giga Mønster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giga Mønster in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Wenerdahl to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giga Mønster in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Pires saved Brothers of Mercy from getting behind. Ulf Öfverman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ivar Albohm made a huge save. Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giga Mønster in the 34th minute of play. Ivar Albohm made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bengt-Rune Strömbom sent off a good shot on target. Ulf Öfverman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivar Albohm came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulf Öfverman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute Ulf Öfverman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Roger Jansson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 60 minutes into the game, Alvar Mellbad threw the ball into play from the sideline. Brothers of Mercy's Dan Björk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Brothers of Mercy's Kieran Robertson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alvar Mellbad in the 61 minute of the game. Ivar Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Öfverman in the 62nd minute of the match. Ivar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Öfverman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Bredberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Brothers of Mercy's Erramu Chute was substituted for Bengt-Rune Strömbom. After 65 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Michael Bredberg. Ivar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erramu Chute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Elg came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giga Mønster's late challenge caught a Brothers of Mercy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giga Mønster helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Giga Mønster hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 76th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Jerry Aronsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Bredberg came free, but Alexandre Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Elg in the 83rd minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Kristiansson in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Wenerdahl came free, but Alexandre Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Ulf Öfverman sped through Strömsbro IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivar Albohm. Brothers of Mercy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
