The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Wallander in the 4th minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Adrian Billberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Stig-Arne Ekblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Börna Bulldogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Bröms to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Törnkvist came free, but Adrian Billberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, one of Börna Bulldogs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Wargön. Wictor Pihlberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adrian Billberg. 0-1. The supporters of Wargön booed when Börna Bulldogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Ferm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match, Adrian Dusett tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jens Ahlroht saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute, Calle Browall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Börna Bulldogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 29th minute Bengt-Rune Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Billberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Ekgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Wargön's Sten Stolpe got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Börna Bulldogs's Karl-Johan Örtlund couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wargön. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig-Arne Ekblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kasper Persson fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Börna Bulldogs's protests and gave Kasper Persson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Börna Bulldogs's Kasper Persson got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Börna Bulldogs's Adrian Billberg got control of the ball when Bengt-Rune Törnkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Börna Bulldogs had won after a very even match.
