The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hector Hugo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magne Gunnarsson. Magne Gunnarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Magne Gunnarsson came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo. But to his dismay, Hector Hugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 17thth minute of the game Henry Fagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per Stenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Rönnöfors FF's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute Per Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Hugo in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Henry Fagerberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hector Hugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Hugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Gunnarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigvard Biörnberg hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Hector Hugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Hector Hugo scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magne Gunnarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guld Run in the 47th minute of the match. The Rönnöfors FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Fagerberg to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 51st minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomil Michnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Magne Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Hugo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magne Gunnarsson having to make a save. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Hugo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magne Gunnarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Hugo ran back to his position shaking his head. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Hugo in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Per Stenberg notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi. Aurel Crivoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK made a substitution. Bernt Offendahl replaced Alfred Mossberg. In the 71st minute, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Paul Hermansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. 79 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hugo came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guld Run, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Hermansson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 93rd playminute. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
