Pål Sefastsson made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ubaldo Padro sent off a good shot on target. Pål Sefastsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ubaldo Padro's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Cris Montoia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Padro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Sefastsson having to make a save. Ellis Schenck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Post in the 18th minute of the match. After 21st play minutes Carlos Alberto Tevez shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ellis Schenck and just under the crossbar into goal. Ellis Schenck came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Tevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bennvar Post scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ellis Schenck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Alberto Tevez succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. 40 minutes into the match, Zlatan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Melander came free, but Ellis Schenck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Ubaldo Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto Tevez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Fredric Melander came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the National Team Cape-Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredric Melander couldn't finish the play. The National Team Cape-Verde players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
