This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Edward Sitko as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Edward Sitko managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when El Salvador's Raúl Quintanilla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 12th minute, Miguel Gallegos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edward Sitko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ivan Iigo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Raúl Quintanillas short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Edward Sitko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raúl Quintanilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Sitko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Odir Bautista got a free kick in the 35th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hieronim Kaider stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The El Salvador fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when El Salvador's Raúl Quintanilla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raúl Quintanilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Sitko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Edward Sitko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Carlos Palencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Sitko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Gallegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to IGloopoL getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lu Xiang hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in IGloopoL's zone, Franklin Peña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Sitko came out of the goal and Franklin Peña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Sitko didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when El Salvador's João Mira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. João Mira took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Sitko. Edward Sitko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Salvador fully deserved thier win.
