Fernanco Peso might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Billy Melander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernanco Peso ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernanco Peso got free with Billy Melander in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 minutes Sporting Cristal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Eradi who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaunti Vidrio in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Iruegas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Fernanco Peso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Cristal's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernanco Peso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Melander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eleuterio Froylan made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Cristal's Ludomil Kolba. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seven Tempest FC's goalkeeper Billy Melander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernanco Peso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Billy Melander made a huge save. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seven Tempest FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gertjan De Ryck was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Cristal's players had a chance to rest. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Seven Tempest FC! When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Sporting Cristal's Gertjan De Ryck got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Billy Melander. When Fernanco Peso came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sporting Cristal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernanco Peso couldn't finish the play. Fernanco Peso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute, Sporting Cristal's Fernanco Peso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Billy Melander. Billy Melander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 46th match minute, Seven Tempest FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Filare to maneuver through the defense. Billy Melander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gertjan De Ryck in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaunti Vidrio to make the kick off. Billy Melander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernanco Peso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernanco Peso might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Billy Melander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernanco Peso ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernanco Peso in the 56th minute of play forced Seven Tempest FC's goalkeeper Billy Melander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Fernanco Peso made a precise shot to the right of Billy Melander. Seven Tempest FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
