An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Escobar in the 8th minute of play forced RESISTIR SC's goalkeeper Isidro Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Benavides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayvion Esoin in the 10th minute of the match. Isidro Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Ulloa in the 11th minute of play. When Guillermo Escalona came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Escalona couldn't finish the play. After 14 minutes, Zarando Puente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RESISTIR SC and the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giancarlo Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Belasko Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Humberto Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Boni was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Edelmiro Ruelas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Isidro Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giancarlo Mora in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match RESISTIR SC got a corner. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zarando Puente ran over to the corner to take the kick. Izel Guill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Benavides having to interfere. Isidro Boni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A nice corner shot did that Giancarlo Mora got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isidro Boni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. RESISTIR SC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zarando Puente took the corner.

After a rather tough play, RESISTIR SC's Sayvion Esoin got a free kick in the 58th minute. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarando Puente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Izel Guill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When RESISTIR SC's Izel Guill in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie prevented a goal. Juan Benavides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izel Guill in the 89th minute of the match. Tomás Benavides's late challenge caught a RESISTIR SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Benavides helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute of the match RESISTIR SC got a corner. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zarando Puente ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led RESISTIR SC's Zarando Puente to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Benavides despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
