Husni Yulianto struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Juan Benavides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Callao. Reynaldo Termiñon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Reynaldo Termiñon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Escobar in the 30th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Escobar was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s zone, Husni Yulianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Benavides came out of the goal and Husni Yulianto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Husni Yulianto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Benavides was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Callao's goalkeeper Reynaldo Termiñon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Escobar. Reynaldo Termiñon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Escobar's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Humberto Escobar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Callao's Reynaldo Termiñon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Guillermo Escalona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Husni Yulianto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Benavides was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Guillermo Escalona hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Loco Escajedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Escajedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Loco Escajedo came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Husni Yulianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Deportivo Callao's Rito Eiriz pulled a muscle in his leg after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Club Deportivo Callao made a substitution. Pablo Reborio replaced Rito Eiriz. In the 93rd minute, Guillermo Escalona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
