LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Perkowski came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Perkowski in the 18th minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Silviano in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Courtois saved Szczakowianka from getting behind. When Szczakowianka's Benedykt Perkowski in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Geronimidis in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Perkowski in the 35th minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adamantios Geronimidis in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adamantios Geronimidis got free with Thibaut Courtois in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Chen Yan came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benedykt Perkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Benedykt Perkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cristian Mergildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedykt Perkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Benedykt Perkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LANUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Adamantios Geronimidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thibaut Courtois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szczakowianka's Boguslaw Porajewski was substituted for Teobald Klocko. 60 minutes into the game, Szczakowianka's Benedykt Perkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Mergildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Cristian Mergildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedykt Perkowski in the 63rd minute. Atilano Tonio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thibaut Courtois. Szczakowianka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristian Mergildo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Luis Elequemedo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Perkowski got free with Cristian Mergildo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Szczakowianka's zone, Adamantios Geronimidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibaut Courtois came out of the goal and Adamantios Geronimidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Szczakowianka had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
