In the 45th minute of the match, Diego Maradona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hampus Vall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 46 played minutes BK Tåfjutt got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Barck. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Óscar Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ken Golang sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Ken Golang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Óscar Cordoba, 1-4. BK Tåfjutt's Hampus Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bilintx in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ken Golang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Óscar Cordoba was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Ken Golang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Tåfjutt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Golang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BK Tåfjutt's Nildo Lendaa was substituted for Huang Wei Hong. Sporting de Gijón's Elpidio Bixintxo was substituted for Saturnino Curcio. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ken Golang took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Óscar Cordoba to make any attempt to save it. In the 79thth minute of the game Ken Golang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ken Golang got free with Óscar Cordoba in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BK Tåfjutt's Hampus Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Bixintxo in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Ken Golang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Óscar Cordoba, 1-6. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ken Golang took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Óscar Cordoba to make any attempt to save it. The throw-in from Rune Fanström in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BK Tåfjutt's Maximilian Lundberg. 94 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Golang came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Maradona in the 95th minute of play forced BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Hampus Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Ken Golang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Óscar Cordoba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BK Tåfjutt's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
