Svante Stenqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Beard in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Svante Stenqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Beard in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svante Stenqvist saved Söderhall from getting behind. A collision led to Söderhall getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Zygmunt Wrzosek hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Jospeh McNally successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Gerardo Beard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svante Stenqvist. Söderhall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Beard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Beard in the 44th minute of play forced Söderhall's goalkeeper Svante Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Augustin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clas Nørstrup was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Brooklyn SC defense, Zygmunt Wrzosek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jospeh McNally. The Brooklyn SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jospeh McNally should have stopped the shot. Svante Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Augustin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svante Stenqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Augustin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Trenton Long sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Söderhall's Qi Yang Guang was substituted for Zygmunt Wrzosek. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Nordgren in the 79th minute of play. Svante Stenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dwight Schrute in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Söderhall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertrand Traoré didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svante Stenqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trenton Long in the 91st minute of the match. 2-5 became the score in the 94th minute when Felix Augustin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Brooklyn SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
