Benedykt Perkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Armindo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz. 8 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Perkowski came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 13th minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Pellecchia kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Perkowski in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Benedykt Perkowski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of VB-Team's Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Radowit Ogrodowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Armindo Salgado made a huge save. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Perkowski in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Szczakowianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Haukenes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, VB-Team's César Sampaio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed César Sampaio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VB-Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and César Sampaio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VB-Team! When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Szczakowianka's Donald Tusk got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armindo Salgado. 35 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Ogrodowicz came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Gervásio Severiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. Szczakowianka's Donald Voldfrom was substituted for Donald Tusk. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Caeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Luís Caeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thibaut Courtois saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robbin Moreaux kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. VB-Team made a substitution. Yu Ke Hong replaced Enzo Pellecchia. Robbin Moreaux hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Álvaro Rezende, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang was substituted for Sandro Leitão. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was substituted for Joaquim de Barros. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 80th minute, Benedykt Perkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szczakowianka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qiu Sheng Bang in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Courtois saved Szczakowianka from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 86th minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 87th minute of the match. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Elequemedo in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Luis Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the VB-Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Szczakowianka.
