After 12 minutes of play, C.A. LANUS's Adamantios Geronimidis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jospeh McNally was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Brooklyn SC defense, Adamantios Geronimidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jospeh McNally. The Brooklyn SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jospeh McNally should have stopped the shot. Cristian Mergildo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brooklyn SC's Felix Augustin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Augustin got free with Cristian Mergildo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to C.A. LANUS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Levente Végh hit a great ball. Jospeh McNally showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Geronimidis in the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Augustin in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Mergildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Julian Silviano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jospeh McNally was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half C.A. LANUS were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adamantios Geronimidis was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Augustin in the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Felix Augustin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brooklyn SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Augustin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brooklyn SC's Jonas Cole got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adamantios Geronimidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jospeh McNally made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Gerardo Beard notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo. Cristian Mergildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brooklyn SC's Walter Spivey was substituted for Gerardo Beard. The Brooklyn SC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Brooklyn SC's Felix Augustin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th minute Trenton Long shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Trenton Long who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Silviano came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A. LANUS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
