The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Irvin Willoughby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Sjøholm in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Griskultingarnas FF's Jimmy Busk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irvin Willoughby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Irvin Willoughby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochem Klooster in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Olívio Sjøholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irvin Willoughby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Olívio Sjøholm made a precise shot to the right of Irvin Willoughby. Hurricanes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Smedfeldt came free, but Irvin Willoughby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Griskultingarnas FF's Olívio Sjøholm made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irvin Willoughby was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute Olívio Sjøholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irvin Willoughby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hurricanes FC's Irvin Willoughby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Smedfeldt in the 22nd minute of play. Griskultingarnas FF were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Hurricanes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arman Ekström took the corner. The corner led Griskultingarnas FF's Arman Ekström to fire away a dangerous shot which Irvin Willoughby despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Irvin Willoughby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Smedfeldt went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Sherman Friedman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Natasha Sjøholm made a huge save. Romain Corcoran kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Arman Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irvin Willoughby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Sjøholm in the 35th minute of the match. Sherman Friedman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natasha Sjøholm having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Jochem Klooster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irvin Willoughby. Hurricanes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jochem Klooster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Irvin Willoughby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Smedfeldt in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Sjøholm in the 44th minute of play forced Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Irvin Willoughby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irvin Willoughby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes, Brock Yarbrough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hurricanes FC and the Griskultingarnas FF players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jochem Klooster to make the kick off. When Jochem Klooster, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Irvin Willoughby was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Jimmy Busk sped through Hurricanes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Irvin Willoughby. Jochem Klooster came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Irvin Willoughby could save by the left post. If Jochem Klooster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Busk came free, but Irvin Willoughby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 王亦俊 charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 王亦俊 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 王亦俊 kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Jonatan Smedfeldt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Irvin Willoughby. The goal made the score 0-7. Irvin Willoughby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Smedfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Olívio Sjøholm's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Irvin Willoughby firmly grabbed it by the left post. Griskultingarnas FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
