Sacit Tezveren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. August Hoffmanns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacit Tezveren in the 6th minute of the match. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sacit Tezveren in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Sacit Tezveren made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sacit Tezveren in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Hoffmanns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Folke Malmström was slow to take the kick. During this time RED KHAGAN's players had a chance to rest. RED KHAGAN's Folke Malmström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but August Hoffmanns in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. August Hoffmanns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacit Tezveren in the 15th minute of the match. Sacit Tezveren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. August Hoffmanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes RED KHAGAN got a freekick which was hit by Yılmaz Başdemir. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sacit Tezveren in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. In the 24thth minute of the game Sacit Tezveren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Sacit Tezveren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of August Hoffmanns. Rot-Weiss-Essen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sacit Tezveren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sacit Tezveren might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over August Hoffmanns. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sacit Tezveren ran back to his position shaking his head. Sacit Tezveren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. August Hoffmanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Hoffmanns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sacit Tezveren's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Sacit Tezveren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 37 minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Folke Malmström who took care of the corner kick. 39 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Vedillo came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sacit Tezveren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Sacit Tezveren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half RED KHAGAN were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Sebastian Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Haupt in the 57th minute of play forced RED KHAGAN's goalkeeper Atalan Cebeci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yılmaz Başdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but August Hoffmanns made a huge save. After 62 minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Folke Malmström who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper August Hoffmanns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Vedillo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Hoffmanns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Sebastian Vedillo made a precise shot to the right of August Hoffmanns. Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to RED KHAGAN getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vehdi Selçuk hit a great ball. The RED KHAGAN fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when RED KHAGAN's Sebastian Vedillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 81 minutes of play, RED KHAGAN's Yılmaz Başdemir made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Hoffmanns was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, RED KHAGAN's Baturay Zaim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 87thth minute of the game Baturay Zaim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baturay Zaim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of August Hoffmanns when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Baturay Zaim sped through Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of August Hoffmanns. After having played for 93 minutes, Yılmaz Başdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RED KHAGAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yılmaz Başdemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Baturay Zaim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. RED KHAGAN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
