Alcorcón's supporters rose to their feet, but Erlantz Bermejo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Mergildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A.D. Alcorcón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nereo Acosta in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Nereo Acosta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 19th minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Belo Alvarez could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Cristian Mergildo however easily saved by the left post. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
