VB-Team's Luís Caeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Gervásio Severiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Svante Stenqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Joaquim de Barros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Svante Stenqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Svante Stenqvist made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gervásio Severiano sent off a good shot on target. Joaquim de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Stenqvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Söderhall's Alexandre Motta got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svante Stenqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Zygmunt Wrzosek came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Söderhall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Wrzosek couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Söderhall booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Leitão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Söderhall's goalkeeper Svante Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clas Nørstrup in the 45th minute of the match. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clas Nørstrup in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, VB-Team's Armindo Salgado got control of the ball when Clas Nørstrup tried to sneak it across the goal line. Svante Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Caeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Wrzosek in the 60th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Söderhall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Motta to maneuver through the defense. If Qi Yang Guang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VB-Team made a substitution. Traian Hăvârneanu replaced Joaquim de Barros. VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang was substituted for Sandro Leitão. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervásio Severiano in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Svante Stenqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Luís Caeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Caeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svante Stenqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svante Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Caeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Kun Yuan in the 82nd minute of play forced Söderhall's goalkeeper Svante Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Hăvârneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Söderhall's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Hăvârneanu came free, but Svante Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Stenqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Kun Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Söderhall players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VB-Team.
