Çelik Kadem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Prévost, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Sodus FC's Mouloud el Ibrahimi got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Nóbrega in the 15th minute of play forced Sodus FC's goalkeeper Abdelkader Benhamou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Carlos Jimilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelkader Benhamou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Sodus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Whitmore came free, but Abdelkader Benhamou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard and well directed shot from Tiago Sarmento led 36 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Sodus FC's Abdelkader Benhamou became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-5. Carlos Jimilio charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sodus FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Décio Félix 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Bouabdellah Barbarossa hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sodus FC's Abdelkader Benhamou got control of the ball when Bogdan Siniştean tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Décio Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paris Saint German's supporters rose to their feet, but Décio Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 95th minute, Mourad Kader hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Paris Saint German had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
