But to his dismay, Arseniy Emelyanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Mikhail Nikolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lê Cadeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Efim Aleksandrov made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Mikhail Nikolin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trần Ritchell. Hà Nội's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikhail Nikolin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 38th minute, Mikhail Nikolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trần Ritchell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of Erzincanchester United booed when Hà Nội was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Duc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikhail Nikolin in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trần Ritchell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Aleksandr Byrkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trần Ritchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniil Zarutskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Erzincanchester United's Felix Baranov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Trần Ritchell. Trần Ritchell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 63rd minute, Erzincanchester United's Mikhail Nikolin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Mikhail Nikolin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trần Ritchell having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Erzincanchester United's Daniil Zarutskiy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trần Ritchell. That made the score 0-8 after 67 minutes of play. In the 73rd minute Lê Cadeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efim Aleksandrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hà Nội's Lê Cadeo managed to work through Erzincanchester United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lê Cadeo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Innokentiy Makhagonov kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Aleksandr Byrkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Ritchell having to interfere. Erzincanchester United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
