Alain Prévost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertram Geibel having to interfere. When Sodus FC's Chakib Lacen in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Degmarn FSV's goalie prevented a goal. Bertram Geibel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faouzi Menguellet's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Tobias Wielert made a precise shot to the right of Abdelkader Benhamou. Sodus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Abdelkader Benhamou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Wielert in the 17th minute. A collision led to Sodus FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bouabdellah Barbarossa hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Ludwig Feiert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelkader Benhamou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Abdelhamid Yacef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Sodus FC defense, Gero Faber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdelkader Benhamou. The Sodus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdelkader Benhamou should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chakib Lacen in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bertram Geibel saved Degmarn FSV from getting behind. The Sodus FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Sodus FC's Alain Prévost looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gero Faber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Chris Bell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Degmarn FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sodus FC the free kick. The supporters of Sodus FC booed when Degmarn FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Bell didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Faouzi Menguellet came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Sodus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faouzi Menguellet couldn't finish the play. Chakib Lacen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Bertram Geibel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tobias Wielert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelkader Benhamou having to interfere. Bertram Geibel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Menguellet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gero Faber hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes of play, Sodus FC's Alain Prévost made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertram Geibel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdelkader Benhamou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Wielert, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sodus FC's Abdelkader Benhamou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Feiert in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Abdelhamid Yacef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelkader Benhamou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gero Faber went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Samir Semghoun hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Gero Faber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelkader Benhamou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Güllmann kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Abdelkader Benhamou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Güllmann in the 90th minute of the match. If Chakib Lacen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
