A collision led to Degmarn FSV getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ludwig Feiert hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Carlos Jimilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bertram Geibel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Degmarn FSV defense, Bogdan Siniştean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertram Geibel. The Degmarn FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertram Geibel should have stopped the shot. Hamílton Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gero Faber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chris Bell's late challenge caught a Paris Saint German's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Bell helped the player get up and apologised. If Bogdan Siniştean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Siniştean in the 26th minute of play forced Degmarn FSV's goalkeeper Bertram Geibel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertram Geibel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Siniştean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godwin Ungerer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Wielert got free with Hamílton Lopes in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Paris Saint German booed when Degmarn FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Feiert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Décio Félix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertram Geibel was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Degmarn FSV's Bertram Geibel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Jimilio in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Wielert to make the kick off. Hamílton Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Bell in the 60th minute of play. Bogdan Siniştean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Bertram Geibel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Degmarn FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Jimilio came free, but Bertram Geibel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Jimilio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Bertram Geibel 71 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Bertram Geibel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 83rd match minute, Degmarn FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolaus Schwaneberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Degmarn FSV's zone, Carlos Jimilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertram Geibel came out of the goal and Carlos Jimilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Degmarn FSV's Chris Bell got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Bogdan Siniştean lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Bertram Geibel. The crowd rose to their feet as Paris Saint German's Marty Whitmore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bertram Geibel. That made the score 0-8 after 92 minutes of play. In the 94th match minute, Paris Saint German was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marinho Peres to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Degmarn FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Jimilio came free, but Bertram Geibel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 99 in the game by Bogdan Siniştean from a close distance when the talented Bertram Geibel managed to make a qualified save. Degmarn FSV's players were relieved. The Degmarn FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paris Saint German were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
