Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chakib Lacen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ang Hsi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelkader Benhamou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. After some careless play in the West Buckland A defense, Chakib Lacen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darren Braddell. The West Buckland A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darren Braddell should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faouzi Menguellet during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Faouzi Menguellet hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Aziz Nagasaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelkader Benhamou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chakib Lacen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aziz Nagasaki came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the West Buckland A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Nagasaki couldn't finish the play. In the 14thth minute of the game Aziz Nagasaki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sodus FC's Abdelkader Benhamou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdelkader Benhamou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Nagasaki in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Alain Prévost cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Darren Braddell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 23 minutes, Aziz Nagasaki made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sodus FC's Abdelkader Benhamou tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Ang Hsi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Buckland A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Darren Braddell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Sodus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Siong came free, but Abdelkader Benhamou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Sodus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shafiq Tee came free, but Abdelkader Benhamou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aziz Nagasaki took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdelkader Benhamou. Abdelkader Benhamou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Sodus FC's Faouzi Menguellet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darren Braddell. That made the score 3-4 after 40 minutes of play. When Gabriel Kool fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Buckland A's protests and gave Gabriel Kool a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Kool hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aziz Nagasaki to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Sodus FC's Alain Prévost made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darren Braddell was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, West Buckland A's Ang Hsi got a free kick in the 55th minute. Shafiq Tee received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abdelkader Benhamou came out and tried to block the shot, but Shafiq Tee slotted it home off the left post making it 4-5 in the 57th minute. Abdelkader Benhamou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Siong in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Faouzi Menguellet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darren Braddell was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Chakib Lacen kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sodus FC's zone, Gabriel Siong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelkader Benhamou came out of the goal and Gabriel Siong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bouabdellah Barbarossa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, West Buckland A's Gabriel Kool got a free kick in the 78th minute. Darren Braddell came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Sodus FC's Chakib Lacen. But to his dismay, Chakib Lacen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Nagasaki in the 82nd minute of play forced Sodus FC's goalkeeper Abdelkader Benhamou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sodus FC's Abdelkader Benhamou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Nagasaki in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Sodus FC's goalkeeper Abdelkader Benhamou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shafiq Tee. With a little luck, Sodus FC's Abdelkader Benhamou got control of the ball when Shafiq Tee tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alain Prévost might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darren Braddell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alain Prévost ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute Faouzi Menguellet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Braddell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darren Braddell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chakib Lacen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
