Leões do Sul 53's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. George Maldini ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Three Lions FC's George Mbappè getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 24 minutes, Raúl Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leões do Sul 53 and the Three Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Motta to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Barreto scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Buffon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. George Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Rüşti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Messi struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Leandro Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Three Lions FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Messi in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Custódio saved Leões do Sul 53 from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Leões do Sul 53's Christiano Barreto got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 80 minutes, George Messi made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leões do Sul 53's Leandro Custódio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, George Messi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leandro Custódio. Leões do Sul 53's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Messi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Three Lions FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
