Jefferson de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Guto Kleber sent off a good shot on target. Jefferson de Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christiano Barreto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Guto Kleber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rony Rüşti got free in front of the goal in the 14th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jefferson de Moraes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Christiano Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Guto Kleber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson de Moraes was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Jefferson de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Rüşti, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiano Barreto got free with Jefferson de Moraes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Araçá F. C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Vieira in the 32nd minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Leandro Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rony Rüşti came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Leões do Sul 53 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Rüşti couldn't finish the play. Jefferson de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Guto Kleber sent off a good shot on target. Leandro Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Leão in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson de Sousa in the 41st minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Leandro Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Nilmar Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Custódio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Araçá F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guto Kleber came free, but Jefferson de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Guto Kleber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson de Moraes had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Žygimantas Ivaška's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Araçá F. C. defense, Žygimantas Ivaška kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson de Moraes. The Araçá F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson de Moraes should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Leões do Sul 53's Cristóvão Heidemann got a free kick in the 85th minute. Paulo José de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Leandro Custódio made a huge save. In the 88th minute Araçá F. C. were awarded a corner. João Breckenfeld went to the cornerflag to take it. Araçá F. C.'s João Breckenfeld was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leandro Custódio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Araçá F. C. booed when Leões do Sul 53 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Kleber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Paulo José de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araçá F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo José de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Custódio made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Manfredo Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. Leões do Sul 53's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
